Well folks I apologize for the long silence. So many things have happened during this quiet time. We moved and had a baby girl. Those two events alone are pretty big. I also just found out my bud over at Saltcreep had a baby this past Oct. Congrats to him! On a sad note, we lost a great local pet store. Petsville, here in Prattville, has closed. Greg, I wish you the best and I thank you for evertyhing you have ever done for me and Lisa and the promotion of this site. Your store will be missed. It wont be the same around here... As for this site, I hope 2008 brings about more time to be active and seeing the site thrive as a busy community again. My tank is still going and doing as well as ever. I still have that big heteractis anemone and my pair of clowns who reside in him. I hope all of your tanks are better now than you ever imagined. Something's in the Works..

We've got something coming up in the future. Shouldn't be too far out. A new contest, one which will test not only your knowledge of saltwater but also your wits. That's all I can say for now. The prize offered will be quite nice! Also I'd like to highlight right here on the front page, beautiful pics of the "pom pom crab" (lybia tessellata) taken by our very own, reefman23. Since I've been away many new members have signed up. We've started out as a small few of us getting together talking about reefing and the topics that surround it. We've now reached a userbase of 310 users and 5500 posts. That's phenominal. I'm quite proud to be a part of it all. Welcome to all our newest members!
